we have vcloud installed. In the system we have a number of organizations defined. In one of the orgs i have a number of vapps. within the vapps a number of networks are defined. They are all organization VDC type. The networks are all defined with the external network section.
if you right click and look at the network under the external network section it has vsphere network: vlan_name. If i do the same under the vapp it shows unavailable.
To test the connection i created a vm in vsphere client and attached the network and was able to connect to the network without any issues. only when its added to the cloud as direct connection from the distributed switch in vcentre.
all other networks hanging of the distributed switch are fine with in the cloud environment
