VM Guests can't see beyond Bridge Network

My nested ESXi seems to works ok. Is able to to pick up office DHCP.

vmnet0 mode is set to Bridge as I want its VM guests to use the office DHCP ips.

Humm DHCP boot request does not work for guest VMs. So set them to static. Is able to ping other VMs within the nested ESxi. But can't ping beyond.

I'm using Workstation 9(running on Ubuntu 12.4). Using ESXi 5.1.

I've done a simlar install that worked. i.e. Workstation 8(windows 8). Used ESXi with bridge mode. Guest VMs can pick up office DHCPs ok.

This was using a different DHCP server, CPU and NIC.

Any ideas?
