Unable to install any 64 Bit Microsoft OS in esxi 4.0 or 4.1

Hello All,

I am new to this community and I was told by lot of my friends who use VMware that this is the best platform to get my questions answered. I am currently in the process of setting up VMware infrastructure for one of our Company. I have been facing an Issue while installing any 64 Bit guest Microsoft Operating Systems (See Attached) in the esxi Server.

I am also attaching the detailed Server configuration

My Servers Config

HP ProLiant  DL380 G7

Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5503 @ 2.00GHz

I have tried a few steps

1. Upgrade the BIOS from HP Site

2. Edited the .vmx file following the instructions from the below advisory

3. Enabled the below options in the BIOS

• No-Execute Memory  Protection
• Execute  Disable
• Virtualization Technology  (VT)

Request you to review and advise me the reason and a fix to resolve this Issue.
